چکیده
How could the initial, drastic decisions to implement “lockdowns” control spread of Covid-19 infections be justifiable, when they were made on basis such uncertain evidence? We defend imposition lockdowns in some countries by, first, looking at evidence that undergirded decision (focusing particularly decision-making process United Kingdom); second, arguing this provided sufficient grounds restrict liberty, given circumstances; and third, defending use poorly empirically constrained epidemiological models as tools can legitimately guide public policy.
